As a Quarry Operations Leader, you will play a crucial role in managing the day-to-day activities of our hard rock quarry. This position is focused on ensuring safe and efficient operations while maintaining high standards of quality control.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising employees and subcontractors to ensure compliance with legislative requirements and safety protocols. You will also be accountable for achieving production targets, managing environmental aspects, and promoting continuous improvement within the team.

  • Develop and implement ongoing production plans for the quarry, aligning with business objectives and industry best practices.
  • Ensure effective coordination of truck drivers, product deliveries, and associated tasks to meet customer needs and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive sales growth, manage budgets, and optimize resource allocation.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging open communication and knowledge sharing among team members.

This leadership role requires:

  • Proven experience in a similar management position, preferably within the quarry or mining sector.
  • Familiarity with Moxy systems and ability to adapt to new technologies.
  • Hold a current White Card and HR Licence, with a strong emphasis on adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Previous experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a strong focus on safety and quality control.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
