Quarry Supervisor Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Quarry Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our quarry. The successful candidate will report directly into the Quarry Manager and be responsible for managing various key functionalities of the quarry, including maintenance, plant performance, safety, environment, and quality control.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hard rock quarry operations and/or fixed and mobile plant operations. They will also possess excellent leadership, people management, and mentoring skills, with the ability to drive compliance and a culture of HSE & Quality.

The role requires exceptional communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills, as well as strong organisation skills to prioritise competing deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the quarry
  • Oversee maintenance, plant performance, safety, environment, and quality control
  • Lead by example and promote a culture of HSE & Quality
Requirements:
  • 5 years experience in mining and quarrying
  • Strong knowledge of hard rock quarrying and crushing processes
  • Strong leadership attributes, including initiative to identify, manage, and solve issues as they arise
