About the Quarry Manager Role
- Our ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and managing a team to achieve strategic business objectives, making key decisions that impact overall performance.
- Responsibilities include day-to-day operations management, including quarry development, storm water management, and preventative maintenance scheduling.
- The successful candidate will also drive improvements in supply chain processes, establishing high-performing systems through insightful planning and innovative strategies.
- We are seeking a transformational leader who can drive change in a complex business environment, with exceptional negotiation and influencing skills.
- Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating resilience and adaptability in challenging situations.
About You
- You must have a strong commitment to safety, with a focus on risk management and zero-harm principles.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Quarry Management, preferably in a hard rock quarry environment, is required.
- Diploma in Extractive Industries or relevant tertiary qualifications are highly desirable, as is a Shot Firers ticket.
