Senior Data Center Construction Manager

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Center Construction Manager to lead our data center construction projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction process from feasibility to commissioning, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining high-quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all aspects of data center construction, including site feasibility, procurement, design review, daily construction oversight, and commissioning.
- Drive costs down and schedules shorter while maintaining quality.
- Lead the development and implementation of project management plans, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Provide strategic input on capital expenditures, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and finance, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, tracking progress against key performance indicators (KPIs) and providing regular updates to stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in design and construction management, preferably in mission-critical facilities.
- Demonstrated expertise in program management, including experience with reading and interpreting construction-related drawings.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to drive results in fast-paced environments.
- Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience in Construction Management, Architecture, Structural, Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- Prior experience working with vendors and contractors, with negotiation and management skills.
- Familiarity with Australian building codes and regulations, including Fire Codes, Building Codes, Energy Efficiency Codes, Sanitary Codes, and Safety Codes.
