As a strategic visionary with expertise in branding and marketing, you will possess a robust background in customer insights and market research.

A proactive individual with meticulous attention to detail, you are passionate about understanding consumer behavior and preferences.

Key Responsibilities

The Insights and Research Manager will deliver impactful market and customer insights to guide and enhance strategic initiatives, driving business growth for Tabcorp.

In this capacity, you will oversee research projects for TAB and Sky Racing, concentrating on market dynamics, brand positioning, and competitive analysis. You will collaborate within our Voice of Customer team, which encompasses Insights, VOC, User Research & Analytics, working alongside the Senior Manager Insights & Research to generate, curate, and disseminate insights while identifying growth opportunities. You will partner with various teams across the organization, ensuring that our strategies, customer initiatives, and marketing efforts are grounded in solid insights and data.

In addition to strategic and tactical projects, you will manage our ongoing brand health monitoring and promote a culture of market and customer understanding throughout the organization.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in insights and research roles, whether in agency or client-side environments.
  • Deep understanding of brand strategy and insights methodologies, including quantitative research.
  • Strong storytelling abilities, with engaging and concise presentation skills.
  • Expertise in modern research methodologies, trend analysis, and customer metrics within an omni-channel context.
  • High proficiency in research analysis software (e.g., Q) and customer experience/survey tools (e.g., InMoment/Qualtrics).
  • A genuine interest in sports and/or racing-related entertainment.
