Early Childhood Educator Wanted

Job Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and motivated educator to create a safe and nurturing environment for children aged 0-6 years.

As an Early Childhood Educator, your primary goal is to provide high-quality care and education that fosters physical, emotional, and cognitive development.

You will work in our nursery and toddler's room, as well as the preschool room, collaborating with other educators to develop and implement engaging programs that meet the needs of all children.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement educational programs aligned with the EYLF and NQF
  • Care for children's physical and emotional needs, including meal times, rest periods, and play activities
  • Conduct observations and record progress to inform program planning and improvement
  • Maintain open communication with parents and carers to ensure a smooth transition for children
  • Foster teamwork and collaboration with colleagues to achieve shared goals

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Children Services or equivalent
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Understanding of EYLF and NQF
  • Ability to work flexible hours and demonstrate strong teamwork skills
