About the Role

We are seeking experienced professionals to fill a leadership position in our Public Sector team. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact and bring forward-thinking solutions to clients in the defence sector.

Job Summary

The Project Leader will play a critical role in enriching project work and connecting the client, delivery team, and global network. This includes managing day-to-day delivery with the client team, leading a team of consultants to deliver research and insight, and engaging topic leaders to leverage expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage high-performing teams to deliver projects and achieve objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategic solutions to drive performance improvement.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to inform decision-making and drive innovation.
Requirements
  • 6-8+ years of relevant work experience, ideally in industry and/or management consulting aligned to Public Sector or Defence topics.
  • Dedicated experience and expertise in one or multiple areas such as Acquisition program delivery, Strategy formulation & execution, Complex scenario analysis and problem solving, Climate & sustainability, People and organization, Complex organizational change, Future of Work.
  • Experience leading and managing high-performing teams.
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and conceptual thinking.
  • Excellent communication, story-lining, client-facing, and consulting skills.
  • Australian Citizen with the ability to obtain an AGSVA clearance.
  • Flexibility to travel interstate or international as required.
