Community Services Programs Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to join our team as a Community Services Programs Teacher. This is a full-time position until December 2025, providing an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching services to students in the Community Services & Early Childhood Education Programs within the Faculty of Health, Community and Animals. Key responsibilities include developing innovative course materials, ensuring student success, and maintaining BHI compliance requirements.
As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with Course Coordinators, students, industry groups, community services providers, overseas partners, and employees at all levels. You will also be responsible for promoting a culture of child safety, complying with the Child Safe Standards, and reporting any suspected child abuse as per the Institute's Child Safety Policy and Procedures.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess relevant industry qualifications and experience, including currency in Family Violence, Counselling, Homelessness, and Suicide management and prevention. A sound understanding of learning theories, including adult learning theory and post-modernist theory, is also essential. Additionally, you will need to demonstrate the ability to develop complex documents that comply with quality standards, manage student information systems, and provide exceptional customer service.
