About the Role:

Overview

At Box Hill Institute, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced E-Learning Program Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to lead the development of innovative e-learning programs and contribute to the growth of our institution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement Moodle shell designs and educator development in blended learning and online pedagogies.
  • Oversee the development and management of shells to ensure they meet academic quality, user experience, and web accessibility standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to establish and maintain relationships and ensure quality outcomes.
  • Work closely with the StudentWeb Support Team to support faculty members and manage portfolios of courses.
Requirements:

We are looking for someone with a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE41116/22) who possesses strong learning design skills and experience in using learning management systems like Moodle. A desirable qualification would be an AQF5 or higher teaching qualification, including supervised teaching practice and/or an AQF 6 or higher Learning Design qualification.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in learning design for e-learning and blended learning programs within a vocational or higher education environment. They should also have proven ability to design and map assessment tasks for both curriculum and competency-based programs.

Awareness of current industry standards and innovative practices is essential, along with the ability to implement these in everyday work practice. Sound knowledge of the Australian Quality Training Framework is also required.
