About the Role:
">An exciting opportunity to work at Box Hill Institute as our Academic Course Manager – Performance.
">This is a part-time, four-day-a-week position until December 2025.
">The Academic Course Manager – Performance will lead and manage teaching and learning activities to ensure high-quality, innovative programs, relevant and engaging learning resources, and excellent training delivery to students enrolled in the Bachelor of Music Industry.
">Success in this role will result in a high-performing team, student achievement, improved education and employment outcomes, compliance, and quality education.
">This position may also involve academic delivery in relevant degree programs and scholarly activities.
">The Academic Course Manager – Performance is a member of the Music & Creative Industries department within the College of Higher Education.
">Liaising with students, industry groups, community services providers, overseas partners, and employees at all levels is a key aspect of this role.
">The Higher Education College is part of the Educational Delivery Division and provides a wide range of teaching and learning programs at local and international campuses.
">About You:
">We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional with a Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field, preferably with demonstrated experience in managing and motivating a high-performance team.
">A strong understanding and demonstrated experience working with international student cohorts, research, and scholarship publication records are highly valued.
">You will have solid experience leading and managing academic programs that comply with relevant quality standards and possess a strong understanding of VET and Higher Education pedagogy.
">Demonstrated experience applying and coaching employees on teaching methodologies, techniques, and standards appropriate to subject areas is essential.
