Boarding Supervisor

The Boarding Supervisor at John Paul College is responsible for providing a safe, supportive, and structured residential environment for our boarding students. This role requires a strong commitment to fostering the academic progress, personal development, and wellbeing of students.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the welfare and safety of students at all times, both on-campus and off-campus activities.
- Manage behaviour expectations and address disciplinary issues in a caring and firm manner.
- Supervise study sessions, encourage academic progress, and report academic concerns to the Head of Boarding.
- Ensure student wellbeing through adherence to child protection and Duty of Care responsibilities.
- Collaborate with Teachers and other professional employees at the College in supporting student learning and development.
- Positive Paid Blue Card / Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain this by start date).
- Computer skills in office applications and ability to work in a team environment.
- Drivers License (Green P or Open License) with an exemplary driving record.
- Current First Aid and CPR (or ability to obtain this by start date).
- Competitive hourly rate.
- Part time permanent hours (giving you confidence of having a contract with the College for 12 months).
- Chef prepared Breakfast and Dinner daily during term time on the shift you are working.
- Accommodation with a private room in one of our onsite villas or houses during the term of your contract (if you need somewhere to stay).
- College laptop AND unlimited internet access.
- Access and free use of College Laundry.
- Access and free use of the College gym facilities.
- Off the street free parking.
- A location close to transport and facilities.
- The ability to earn more $ with paid Co-curricular (Sports, Activities and Performance coaching and support roles available).
