Job Summary:

The Boarding Supervisor role at John Paul College is a dynamic and rewarding position that requires a caring and supportive individual to foster a safe and structured residential environment for our boarding students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the welfare, academic progress, and personal development of students while maintaining effective communication and record-keeping practices.
  • Actively supervise students at all times, both on-campus and off-campus activities.
  • Manage behaviour expectations and address disciplinary issues in a caring and firm manner.
  • Support boarders with time management and their academic responsibilities.
  • Ensure student wellbeing through adherence to child protection and Duty of Care responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • Positive Paid Blue Card / Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain this by your start date)
  • Computer skills in office applications and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Drivers License (Green P or Open License) with an exemplary driving record.
  • Current First Aid and CPR (or ability to obtain this by your start date).
