Job Overview

The role involves extensive engagement with wealth management clients and financing products, managing multiple stakeholders in a dynamic deal-oriented environment, and solving client liability management needs.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a single point of contact to client advisors throughout the lending process from end to end, supporting their efforts to broaden existing client relationships through additional financing products and services
  • Identify client needs, originate and structure client credit facility requests, including completing due diligence and first-line assessment prior to submitting for approval
  • Offer support during each stage of the transaction lifecycle, from origination to execution to ongoing maintenance of bespoke financing solutions
  • Promote the appropriate use of leverage to client advisors and clients by generating and driving sales strategies
  • Support product maintenance, risk management, ongoing monitoring, reporting and pricing activities
  • Manage loans and deposits product risk and control requirements to ensure compliance in all areas

As a key member of the global lending unit you will work closely with a large variety of clients, client advisors, control functions and in a dynamic environment where collaboration is key to deliver tailored holistic solutions to our clients.

You'll play an important role in the origination and execution of transactions, as well as managing the Australia portfolio. In addition, as a product specialist working seamlessly together with many other parts of the business, you'll help ensure that our offering reaches every suitable client in the simplest and most impactful way.

Expertise
  • University degree or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge and experience with Lombard lending (margin lending) and mortgage lending in Australia
  • Several years' experience structuring/underwriting complex loans for high net worth clients, or experience as a loan officer
  • Methodical, concise and accurate work style, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to analyze financing product risk and regulatory issues
  • Collaborative team member with sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Outstanding communicator with strong interpersonal skills
