FINSTREET is a mortgage manager specialising in non-bank lending solutions for brokers and direct clients. We work across residential, commercial, SMSF, private credit and bridging finance, providing access to lending options that go beyond the majors.

We're looking for a
Junior Level Lending Specialist

Lending Specialist to manage and grow relationships with broker partners and direct clients, with a strong focus on inbound opportunities.
This isn't an entry-level role

  • you'll bring practical lending experience and confidence to work independently - but it's designed for someone still building their career who's ready to be the go-to person for deals in a growing mortgage management business.

You'll handle the full loan process from reviewing scenarios and structuring deals through to approval and settlement alongside our internal credit team, while providing brokers with fast, accurate support on policy and product options.

This role is perfect for someone with a lending background who's ready to take ownership of deals, deepen broker relationships, and build a career in a specialist non-bank environment.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a 
Junior Level Lending Specialist
who already knows their way around loan scenarios, structuring, packaging, and compliance - and wants to apply those skills in a role with variety, ownership, and broker-facing responsibility.

This isn't an entry-level role
- you'll bring practical lending experience and confidence to work independently - but it's designed for someone still building their career who's ready to be the go-to person for deals in a growing mortgage management business.

What You'll Be Doing

Broker and Client Support


• Manage inbound loan opportunities from broker partners and direct customer enquiries


• Provide accredited brokers with real-time scenario and policy guidance


• Act as first point of contact for referred deals from application through to settlement


• Conduct VOI (Verification of Identity) and collect all required documentation from brokers or clients.


• Contribute to process improvements that make life easier for brokers and clients.

Loan Structuring and Processing


• Review scenarios, complete serviceability and LVR checks, and recommend suitable products


• Prepare and submit applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance


• Liaise with credit teams, funders and stakeholders to ensure timely approvals and settlements

Market and Product Knowledge


• Keep up to date on lender products, policy changes, and rate movements


• Share market insights to support product development and broker engagement

Compliance and Risk


• Follow credit policies, responsible lending obligations, and privacy requirements


• Identify and address risks in applications before submission


• Perform due diligence checks and ensure compliance with credit policies and regulations

You'll Have


• At least 3 years in lending or financial services


• Strong knowledge of Australian residential, commercial, and non-bank lending


• The ability to manage the full loan process independently


• Excellent communication and relationship management skills


• Mandarin skills highly regarded
