The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Maintenance Planner to join our team on a FIFO roster. This role is critical in ensuring the effective planning, scheduling, and execution of electrical maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and schedule electrical maintenance tasks for daily operations and shutdowns, including labour, materials, and tools.
  • Develop and manage detailed electrical schedules using Microsoft Project, identifying critical paths and key priorities.
  • Coordinate resources – source necessary parts, liaise with procurement teams, and organize internal and contractor labour.
  • Evaluate safety and compliance by aligning plans with Health Safety Environment standards and permit requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with other teams (Operations, Maintenance, Engineering) to finalize scopes and communicate updates.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 7+ years of experience in electrical maintenance planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan multiple maintenance activities across remote sites, considering logistical challenges.
  • Strong understanding of maintenance planning principles and shutdown strategies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel and Project planning capabilities.
  • Proven knowledge and use of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
