Role Overview

This is a demanding and rewarding role where you will lead the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of potential supporters to secure significant financial contributions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the identification and cultivation of potential supporters to secure significant financial contributions.
  • Manage a portfolio of major donors, fostering deep connections and long-term commitments.
  • Design and deliver donor engagement activities and events that inspire giving, build loyalty, and demonstrate impact.
  • Proactively identify and research new major donor prospects through individual giving programs, events, and networks.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to develop and implement strategic plans to grow the supporter base and optimize philanthropic revenue.

You must have proven experience in relationship management and donor stewardship, including direct gift solicitation.

Demonstrated ability to build strong, enduring relationships with philanthropists, trusts, and stakeholders is essential.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including proposal writing and making confident asks, are required.

Proficiency in using CRM systems to manage donor data and engagement is necessary.

Strong time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, are vital.
