
Facilities Operations Coordinator

This role is responsible for maintaining the school grounds and facilities. The successful candidate will be a dedicated individual who can work independently to ensure the smooth operation of day-to-day facilities.
The position involves a range of responsibilities including:
- Delivering and collecting mail, parcels and documents;
- Printing and photocopying; preparing classrooms for examinations and preparing activity/assembly halls, including moving/arranging furniture and seating;
- Removing and relocating furniture from room to room; general store duties including receipting, opening up, checking, storing and distributing school supplies and stocks;
- Maintaining various registers; and stocktaking and recording of school equipment/furniture and assets.
Additional duties include supporting security operations, clearing and hosing of drains and gutters, and assisting with event coordination.
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety requirements, managing equipment records, and maintaining tools and equipment for repair services.
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and be able to demonstrate a high level of physical fitness.
Key Responsibilities- Grounds Maintenance: Maintaining the appearance and functionality of the school grounds, including mowing lawns, pruning trees and shrubs, and removing weeds.
- Facilities Management: Managing the day-to-day facilities operations, including cleaning, maintenance, and repairs.
- Supply Chain Management: Coordinating the receipt, storage and distribution of school supplies and stocks.
- Asset Management: Maintaining accurate records of school equipment, furniture and assets.
