As a Facilities Coordinator, you will lead coordination for our facilities and support the Facility Manager in delivering operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct due diligence on contractors to ensure compliance with organizational standards.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and optimize resource allocation.
  • Manage documentation and records to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and develop strategies to address them.
  • Support the development of proposals to secure funding for projects.
  • Undertake project management in consultation with stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Ensure health, safety, and environmental aspects are met in facilities management delivery.
  • Develop annual plans for maintenance, repair, and equipment procurement to optimize resources.
  • Coordinate projects, minor building works, and infrastructure improvements to enhance facilities.

Requirements:
  • Experience in facility management and/or contract management is essential.
  • Qualifications and/or experience in construction or property management are highly desirable.
  • Able to operate effectively in a changing environment with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated understanding of ethical issues in procurement and ability to apply this knowledge.
  • Strong financial and budget management skills to manage resources efficiently.
  • Well-developed planning and implementation skills to deliver results.
  • Able to travel to regional locations as required.
