As a Personal Carer, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality personal care tailored to individual needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Support daily tasks and activities, personal care and mobility.
- Work collaboratively to develop and implement person-centred care plans.
- Assist residents with meals and drinks for a safe and enjoyable experience.
- Promote independence and confidence by encouraging resident participation.
- Build strong partnerships with residents by understanding their preferences and priorities.
- Support residents in making informed choices about their lifestyle and activities.
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or Aged Care required.
- Experience as a Personal Carer with minimal supervision.
- Excellent best practice personal and clinical care skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Effective time management to complete tasks within allocated time.
- Understanding of dementia support requirements and challenging behaviours an advantage.
