Water Treatment Plant Structural Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Treatment Plant Structural Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team in Australia. The ideal candidate will have experience in the design engineering of water treatment plants, reservoirs, hydraulic structures, pump stations, and conveyance pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and review of structural components for water treatment plants including layout, sizing, and material selection
  • Conduct site investigations and calculations to ensure safe and efficient operation of plant facilities
  • Prepare reports and specifications for construction projects detailing structural requirements and design parameters
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver successful project outcomes through effective communication and coordination
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil (structural) engineering from a reputable institution
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in water treatment plant design and/or similar engineering projects
  • Knowledge of Australian building codes and standards, including WSAA codes
  • Proven ability to manage small to medium-scale engineering design projects with minimal supervision
