Job Opportunity

We are seeking an Intermediate Structural Engineer to join our team in Newcastle.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and engineering water and wastewater treatment plants, reservoirs, hydraulic structures, pump stations and conveyance pipelines.

  • Bachelor's degree in civil (structural) engineering
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in water and wastewater treatment and/or conveyance design
  • Knowledge of safety in design, constructability and operational practices and relevant Australian standards and codes
  • Knowledge of risk management with the ability to identify project and design related risks
  • Experience in managing small to medium engineering design projects
  • A commitment to working safely, and within systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate across a multidisciplinary team
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills to interact with a broad range of audiences
  • Ability to travel on occasions as the work requires
