About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our Business Transformations team at Latrobe City Council. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in driving organisational change and delivering strategic outcomes through innovative project management, business analysis, and change management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate a range of projects, from enterprise software implementations to business transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives.
  • Utilise your expertise in project management methodologies, such as PRINCE2, to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Develop and implement effective change management strategies to foster adoption and ensure stakeholders are engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Drive benefits realisation efforts, measuring and reporting on project outcomes to ensure business benefits are achieved.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in project management and business analysis, ideally within corporate or IT environments.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus among diverse groups.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing project needs and priorities.
  • Tertiary qualifications in business, IT, or related fields, or equivalent extensive experience in project delivery and management.
  • Certification or training relevant to specialised areas (e.g., certifications in PRINCE2 for project management, Prosci for change management, training in BABOK for business analysis) are highly desirable.
