As a Senior Social Worker, you will lead and deliver high-quality, child-focused early intervention services.

Working with families facing complex challenges, you will support children and young people aged 0–18 across the Northern Sydney region.

This dynamic opportunity allows you to grow your leadership skills, mentor social work students, and contribute to a values-driven team making a real difference in the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver trauma-informed case management and early intervention support to families.
  • Supervise and mentor two social work students.
  • Conduct needs-based assessments and develop tailored case plans.
  • Coordinate referrals and collaborate with internal and external services.
  • Advocate for clients across housing, legal, and welfare systems.
  • Provide outreach support and maintain accurate case documentation.
  • Respond effectively to crisis situations and mitigate risk.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Social Work (essential).
  • 3–4+ years' experience in casework.
  • Experience supervising or mentoring Social Work students (desirable).
  • Strong understanding of trauma, mental health, AOD, and DV issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • NSW Driver's Licence and access to a fully insured vehicle.
