Key Responsibilities of a Technical Solutions Professional

You will play a key technical role within an Operations Team, delivering and supporting C4 products in customer environments. This includes managing software installation, configuration and support in the customer's C4I environments for use in tests, training, exercises and actual operations.

Below are your key responsibilities:

  • Managing software installation, configuration and support in the customer's C4I environments.
  • Setting up and testing integrations between C41 software products and coalition systems, sensors, effectors and communication systems.
  • Designing, implementing and supporting technical solutions that meet customer requirements.
  • Ensuring alignment, effective communication and coordination between stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
  • Developing and delivering technical training of customer administrators and users on C41 software products.
  • Providing level 1 and 2 support to customers on C41 software products, installation, integration with other software and equipment, and to end-users.
  • Maintaining knowledge of C4 software product roadmaps to maximise value for customers.
  • Supporting projects to ensure they are delivered within the agreed scope and on time.

We prefer candidates with a degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other similar discipline, and experience in software development technologies e.g. Java, C#, JavaScript.

A strong understanding of IT infrastructure and platforms such as Windows, Linux Android-based operating systems, Active Directory, database management systems and XMPP chat is highly valued.

Experience in administrating and operating military command information systems, tactical radio devices and radio networks is desirable.
