Mobile Equipment Maintenance Supervisor Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile Equipment Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. As a Mobile Equipment Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our mobile equipment fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate weekly and daily mobile maintenance activities to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency.
  • Solve technical and logistical problems on a daily and weekly basis to minimize downtime and optimize resource utilization.
  • E nsure statutory and safety compliance of all maintenance activities to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Identify resource and skill gaps for team members and develop strategies to close these gaps through training and development plans.
  • Mentor, coach, and roll out training and development plans to support the growth and development of your team members.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Trade Certificate in Diesel Fitting or Auto Electrician.
  • 5+ years post-trade experience with large fleets of mobile mining machinery.
  • Demonstrated experience with Mine System Maintenance.
  • General computer skills and proficiency in planning and scheduling, plant availability, and preventative maintenance processes.
  • Leadership, communication, and people management skills to mentor and coach team members.
