Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and relationship-focused educator to create engaging learning experiences for students at risk of educational disadvantage.

The ideal candidate will be committed to academic excellence, high-quality teaching and learning, and trauma-informed practice. They will have a sound understanding of student social and emotional wellbeing, as well as The Western Australian Curriculum.

Key responsibilities include developing authentic learning tasks, working with students to set goals, and applying explicit teaching strategies incorporating current technologies.

Requirements:
  • Hold a relevant teaching qualification and registration.
  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or hold a valid visa with work rights for the appointment term.
  • Obtain a WA Working with Children Check before commencing employment.
  • Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number from the Department of Education's Screening Unit before starting.
