About This Role

Hedland Senior High School is seeking a Learning Support Coordinator Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with students, staff, and families to provide support and guidance.

As a Learning Support Coordinator Teacher, you will lead teachers in developing and implementing student-centred curriculum and assessment adjustments to ensure inclusive practices for all students.

You will also coordinate the school's approach to the Equitable Access to Assessment Policy and work with staff to strengthen professional development in Special Education Needs.

This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 1, 2026. The successful applicant will have a high level of interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and maintain networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead teachers to develop and implement student-centred curriculum and assessment adjustments.
  • Coordinate the school's approach to the Equitable Access to Assessment Policy.
  • Work with staff to strengthen professional development in Special Education Needs.
  • Manage complex cases across all year groups.

The successful applicant will be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
