Shipping and Trade Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Shipping and Trade Specialist to join our operations team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong personal organisation, reliability with deadlines, and be able to work on their own initiative.

Duties:
  • Processing of import manifests
  • Generating arrival notices
  • Invoicing for freight and local charges
  • Ensuring timely collection of freight and charges
  • Coordinating the release of cargo

The successful candidate will have a good understanding of shipping procedures and documentation, as well as intermediate level Excel skills.

Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good understanding of shipping procedures and documentation
