Stock Control and Purchasing Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Stock Control and Purchasing Team Lead to join our team at Optimal Recruitment. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading the stock control and purchasing functions, ensuring seamless inventory management and procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement effective stock control and purchasing strategies to optimize inventory levels and minimize waste.
- Collaborate with store management and accounts to establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
- Manage the ordering process, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products to meet customer demands.
- Develop and execute impactful product and supplier promotions to drive customer engagement and loyalty.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and inventory management.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role, with a strong background in stock control and purchasing.
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification, with a focus on business or a related field.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Competent in the use of MS suite, with a focus on Excel and Word.
