Job Title: Indigenous Genomics Network Coordinator

This is an exciting opportunity to join the School of Biomedical Sciences as a coordinator for the Indigenous Genomics Network.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish a jurisdictional node to support the development and implementation of Pharmacogenomics for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
  • Develop and coordinate workforce development initiatives with stakeholders.
  • Support the development of local and national Indigenous genomic policies.
Requirements:
  • Education training and/or experience equivalent to a degree in a relevant field.
  • Demonstrated experience working with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people, families, communities, service providers, and organisations.
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting or supporting research involving Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people and communities.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills.
