Job Opportunity

This role involves overseeing remediation projects, encompassing blast and paint operations, concrete repair, and structural integrity assessment for tier 1 mining clients.

The Position
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environment, quality, and regulatory requirements
  • Manage project costs effectively and ensure efficient project execution
  • Coordinate labor forces and subcontractors
  • Provide regular project updates and conduct weekly meetings
  • Offer technical guidance on engineering issues
  • Liaise closely with clients to ensure project completion within program parameters
  • Participate in tendering and estimation processes
  • Travel to mine sites and support the team
  • Manage client and stakeholder relationships
  • Oversee self-perform crews and implement efficiency improvements
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Create and modify inspection test plans and safe work methods statements
  • Raise requests for information and track responses
About You
  • You are a proactive front-line leader with prior experience in an on-site management role
  • Experience in mining, plant maintenance, and shutdowns
  • Experience in blast and paint operations, concrete repair, and other remediation projects
  • Able to coordinate and deliver complex shutdown works
  • Strong program planning and budget management skills
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and subcontractor relationship building
