
Project Remediation Specialist

Job Overview
">- Manage remediation projects, including blast & paint, concrete repair and structural integrity from initial setup through to completion for tier 1 mining clients.
The role involves ensuring compliance with HSECQ requirements, effective cost control and efficient running of the project, coordinating direct labour and subcontractors, project progress reporting and conducting weekly meetings, providing advice on technical and engineering issues, liaising closely with clients ensuring projects run to program, involvement with tendering/estimation, travel to mine sites and support teams, client and stakeholders management, managing self-perform crews and improving efficiencies, creating and modifying ITP's and SWMS, raising RFI's and tracking responses.
About You
You are a positive front-line leader with approximately 5 years of experience in an on-site management role.
">- Experience in mining, plant maintenance and shutdowns.

Key Responsibilities
Blast and Paint: Manage blast and paint remediation projects from initial setup through to completion.
Concrete Repair: Oversee concrete repair projects, ensuring compliance with HSECQ requirements.
Structural Integrity: Coordinate efforts to ensure structural integrity of mining facilities.
Project Management: Ensure effective project management, including cost control, coordination of direct labour and subcontractors, and project progress reporting.
Stakeholder Management: Liaise closely with clients to ensure projects run to program and manage stakeholder expectations.
