Project Leadership Role

This is a challenging leadership position that requires effective management of remediation projects, including blast and paint, concrete repair, and structural integrity from initial setup to completion.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Effective cost control and efficient project execution
  • Coordinating direct labour and subcontractors
  • Reporting on project progress and conducting regular meetings
  • Providing advice on technical and engineering issues
  • Liaising closely with clients to ensure project adherence to schedule
  • Participating in tendering and estimation processes
  • Traveling to mine sites and supporting teams
  • Managing client relationships and stakeholders
  • Enhancing self-perform crews' efficiencies
  • Oversight of multiple projects
  • Creation and modification of ITPs and SWMS
  • Issuing RFIs and tracking responses

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Positive front-line leadership experience
  • Experience in mining, plant maintenance, and shutdowns
  • Ability to coordinate and deliver complex shutdowns
  • Strong program and planning skills
  • Proficiency in managing budgets and controlling costs
  • Exceptional stakeholder and subcontractor management skills
