Job Title

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our Customer Service Team. As a Customer Service Officer, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service, advice, and guidance to members of the public.

  • You will be responsible for rotating across all functions of the Customer Care team, including adoptions, surrenders, lost and found, stray intake, and reporting.
  • Additionally, you will work on a rotating roster, including weekends, ensuring that we provide 24/7 support to our community.

Requirements

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer service role.
  • Prior experience working for a non-profit organisation, desired.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Conflict resolution and mediation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
  • Certificate II in Animal Studies and/or other formal training in animal behaviour (desirable).
  • Previous experience in animal handling.
