We are seeking an experienced horse person to oversee our property for a period of six months.

This role will involve managing the daily operations of the farm, including handling thoroughbred horses and providing general maintenance.

A key requirement is a friendly and cheerful manner, with excellent communication skills.

Previous experience in similar roles is essential, with a strong focus on animal welfare and safety.

The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the farm's equine activities, including feeding, grooming, and exercising the horses.

They will also need to maintain accurate records of horse health, vaccinations, and other relevant information.

In exchange for their services, the successful applicant will have access to a lovely cottage on site.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a beautiful rural setting, surrounded by stunning scenery and wildlife.

We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the daily schedule of horse care and maintenance
  • Overseeing the feeding and watering of the horses
  • Maintaining accurate records of horse health and vaccinations
  • Providing regular exercise and training to the horses
  • Performing general maintenance tasks around the farm
