Our Adventure program offers a variety of services such as campsite and expedition-based outdoor activities in the scenic Adelaide Hills just outside Strathalbyn.

Wirraway Homestead, based in the idyllic Adelaide Hills, is a unique camp that combines Australian settler-style accommodation with horse riding activities, ropes courses, and more.

About the Role

You'll be responsible for providing fun and safe horse riding lessons to campers. You'll also be required to feed and care for our amazing Wirraway horses.

Your key duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Instructing all horse sessions, including mounted, unmounted, and trail riding expeditions
  • Ensuring all daily jobs are completed in a timely and thorough manner
  • Assisting with the regular cleaning and maintenance of the horse riding area

About You

You will be passionate about all things horse riding and enjoy sharing your knowledge with other people. You are a strong team player who thrives in a role where you can bring fun and excitement to our guests.

You will also have the following skills and experience:

  • Accredited Horse Riding Instructor certificate
  • Extensive experience in horse riding, and working with horses
  • The ability to facilitate and manage groups of people (various ages)
  • Working knowledge of safe work practices and risk management standards
