About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Retail Manager to join our team at Elders, a leading Australian agribusiness. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for driving sales performance and growth across our network of retail stores.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Inspire and motivate your team to achieve sales targets and maximize their potential.
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to provide personalized recommendations and drive business growth.
  • Store Operations: Oversee the performance and development of employees within the retail network, ensuring a safe and inclusive work environment.
  • Sales and Marketing: Identify and develop new sales opportunities, drive marketing and promotion of products, and analyze data to inform business decisions.
  • Inventory and Ranging: Implement effective inventory strategies, including exclusive and private label products, to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Coaching and Mentoring: Provide guidance and support to retail managers to help them identify and develop new sales opportunities and improve team performance.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leading and motivating teams to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the agricultural industry, including product and sales management.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial focus and ability to analyze data to inform business decisions.
  • People and Culture: Strong understanding of people and culture principles, with a focus on creating a safe and inclusive work environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
