About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Retail Manager to join our team at Elders, a leading Australian agribusiness. As a key member of our retail network, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving operational efficiency, and leading a team of sales staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspire and motivate your team to achieve sales targets and maximize their potential.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to provide personalized recommendations and drive business growth.
  • Manage the performance and development of employees within the retail network.
  • Cultivate new sales opportunities to strengthen our presence in the market.
  • Participate in strategy and planning for the retail network.
  • Drive marketing and promotion of our products.
  • Prioritize the safety of staff and clients, and contribute to our zero-harm objective and culture.
  • Ensure all stores are up to speed with people and culture initiatives and policies.
  • Implement ranging and inventory strategies across stores.
  • Coach and mentor retail managers in identifying and developing new sales opportunities.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience as a leader in the agricultural industry, with a strong understanding of product and sales management.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team towards achieving sales targets.
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative and agile environment.
  • Strong analytical skills to provide insights and information to stores.
  • Strong commercial focus and acumen.
  • Resourcefulness, forward-thinking, and passion for effecting real change.
  • Ability to provide high-level customer service and cultivate relationships with clients.
  • Proven capabilities in operations, inventory, people, and sales management.
