About the Position:

We are seeking a skilled professional to oversee the implementation and administration of our Earned Value Management System under the Sustainment Program.

This role ensures internal and external reporting aligns with Defence requirements, enabling informed decision-making and strategic planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of Project Controls staff for work areas within the Sustainment Program.
  • Compliance with Earned Value Management policies and processes.
  • Facilitation of team members in using the corporate EVMS tool for reporting and analysis.
  • Preparation and submission of monthly reports as required.
  • Maintenance of data tables and alignment with contractual requirements.
  • Collaboration with Project Managers and Control Account Managers to ensure process adherence.
  • Implementation of additional reporting as needed and process improvement initiatives.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will require qualifications in Project Management, Business, Engineering, or equivalent experience in a Project Management organisation. A minimum of 10 years of experience in Project Controls, Earned Value Management, Cost Engineering, Cost Control, Cost Estimating, Planning & Scheduling, or Project Management is also essential.

You should be able to demonstrate ability to implement and execute industry-standard Earned Value Management, and have experience in training and mentoring staff in the use of an EVM tool.

Eligibility:

This position requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance.
