Field Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Operations Specialist to join our team in South Australia. This role will provide critical operational and maintenance services to ensure a high level of service is provided to customers across various water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, pipe networks, and associated equipment.

This position requires the ability to undertake the maintenance of equipment ensuring compliance with contractual, regulatory, and company requirements. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing asset plans for the efficient and effective operation and maintenance of plant equipment and infrastructure.

Main Responsibilities

  • Ensure equipment is maintained in accordance with contractual, regulatory, and company requirements.
  • Develop and implement asset management strategies to optimize plant performance and efficiency.
  • Manage spare parts inventory to minimize downtime and ensure timely replacement.
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors for specialized maintenance and repair tasks as required.
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization and implement strategies to reduce operational expenses without compromising quality or compliance.
  • Prepare and submit key performance indicator reports highlighting plant performance, efficiency, and areas for improvement.
