Our frontline team is known for their technical rope access skills and ability to deliver safe, high-quality trade-based work in challenging environments.

As our business continues to grow, we recognise the need for additional operational management. Supporting our technicians in the field, engaging with our clients, and ensuring projects are planned and delivered smoothly from start to finish.

To support this growth, we're looking for an additional Operations Manager to join our senior management team, operating independently to deliver projects end-to-end while maintaining exceptional client relationships.


About the Role

This is a senior management role where you'll oversee projects from start to finish — including quoting, scheduling, client liaison, project delivery, ensuring safety and quality compliance.

You'll be a key point of contact for both clients and our field technicians, providing leadership, technical insight and problem-solving skills to ensure projects are executed to the highest standard.

While primarily office-based, this role offers hybrid flexibility. You'll also attend site and client meetings, with occasional daytime travel.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop long-term client relationships
  • Estimate and quote projects, driving opportunities from enquiry through to delivery
  • Support field technicians to ensure safe, high-quality project execution
  • Oversee scheduling, resourcing and progress tracking for assigned projects
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant standards and company procedures

About You

You'll bring a combination of technical know-how, commercial awareness, and leadership skills.

Essential Attributes & Experience

  • Experience working in or alongside the rope access industry
  • Ability to manage projects from first enquiry to post-completion
  • Skilled in client relationship management and problem-solving
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in the construction or industrial sectors

Desirable

  • Experience working as an IRATA Level 3
  • Qualifications in Work Health & Safety, Project Management, Engineering, or a relevant trade
  • Leadership or project management background
  • Experience working with HSEQ systems, including ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001
  • Proven experience preparing estimates, quotes and tenders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
