Job Description

Freshwater Systems is a leading Australian manufacturer of quality water treatment systems with over 32 years of operating history.

We are a national service provider seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and self-motivated Field Service Technician for our expanding team in South Australia.

Our core business incorporates membrane technology, Ion Exchange Process & Media Filtration, Water Softeners, Ultra Violet Sterilisation, Cartridge Filtration, Pumps, Water and Wastewater Pumping Stations, Trade Waste Plants (DAF), Water Management, Service and Preventative Maintenance.

The successful candidate will provide breakdown service and repairs to water treatment equipment and plants on site, install and commission new equipment/plants, maintain quality records and compliance documentation, and liaise directly with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide breakdown service and repairs to water treatment equipment and plants on site.
  • Install and commission new water treatment equipment/plants on site.
  • Maintain quality records and compliance documentation as required by management.
  • Work on-site, carrying out testing to determine water quality, and adjusting chemical dosing levels as required.

Requirements:

  • Current experience as a Field Service Technician within the water treatment industry is highly desirable.
  • Relevant qualifications or Certificates are highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with a focus on organization and compliance.
  • Flexibility to be able to work overtime when required.

Key Skills:

  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of MS Office software and experience with Aroflo or similar electronic service-based program.
  • Ability to trouble shoot with different plant and equipment for fault finding.
  • Current driver's license is essential.
