Your role will involve monitoring performance trends to address questions from our sustainability teams and evaluating performance guarantees for newly delivered aircraft.

About the Role

In this permanent, full-time opportunity based at our Mascot Corporate Campus, you will work closely with key internal stakeholders, including Engineering, Flight Operations, and Fleet & Network Planning, to deliver optimised performance outcomes. This will involve prioritising route profitability while considering environmental and sustainability factors. Your contributions will be vital in shaping the future of our aircraft performance and sustainability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement software solutions to analyse aircraft performance monitoring data
  • Monitor performance trends to address questions from sustainability teams
  • Evaluate performance guarantees for newly delivered aircraft
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver optimised performance outcomes

Requirements

  • Professional engineering tertiary qualification
  • Strong interest and skillset in software development
  • Relevant experience in Java, JavaScript, C#, Python, or Go
  • Strong understanding of airline operations, aircraft performance, and navigation
