Water Safety Attendant – Join Our Award-Winning Resort Team

About the Role

Award-winning Sandstone Point Holiday Resort is seeking reliable and safety-focused Water Safety Attendants to join our team. This role is all about ensuring our guests have a safe, fun, and memorable experience while enjoying our pools and waterpark facilities.

As a Water Safety Attendant, you'll oversee guest activity in and around the water, provide guidance on safe play, and respond quickly and calmly to any incidents. You'll also help maintain a clean, welcoming environment and assist with the daily setup and pack-down of our aquatic areas.

This is a flexible, part-time opportunity that's also well-suited to those who are semi-retired and looking for an engaging role in a supportive team.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Vigilant, safety-first mindset with confidence to enforce rules when needed
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond quickly when needed
  • Physically fit with the ability to work outdoors in varying conditions
  • First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Flexibility to work school holidays and across a 7-day roster including weekends and public holidays (penalty rates apply).
