Swimming Teacher Position

This is a fantastic opportunity for qualified swimming teachers who are passionate about teaching children and making them safer around the water.

We are seeking a part-time Swimming Teacher to join our team, with the chance to work mornings, afternoons, and Saturday morning shifts. You will have a passion for swimming and a flair for working with children, with excellent communication skills and a commitment to customer service excellence.

The role involves teaching effective swimming and water safety skills to students of diverse ages, abilities, cultures, and needs. You will need to be energetic, dynamic, and fun, with the ability to interact effectively with students and provide exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Teaching swimming and water safety classes to students of varying ages and abilities
  • Developing and implementing lesson plans that meet the needs of students
  • Providing feedback and guidance to students to help them improve their swimming skills
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current First Aid (Level 2) and CPR Certificate
  • A Blue Card: Working With Children Check (or equivalent) and National Police Check
  • A Current AUSTSWIM Certificate - Teaching of Swimming and Water Safety
  • Prior experience and success in a comparable role is highly regarded but not essential
