Senior Kitchen Manager Position

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Kitchen Manager to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our residents. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing high-performing teams, developing innovative menus, and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join our supportive and dynamic team, working closely with our Community Manager and small team to achieve great results. You will be responsible for all kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and stock management, as well as leading by example to maintain a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and stock management
  • Lead and motivate the kitchen team to deliver exceptional service and achieve great results
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and quality, adhering to strict guidelines and protocols
  • Develop and implement new ideas and initiatives to enhance the dining experience and drive business growth
Requirements
  • Experience as a Chef or Kitchen Manager in a similar setting (e.g. retirement villages, cafes, restaurants)
  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or higher qualification
  • Food Safety Certification and understanding of OH&S policies
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with ability to motivate and develop staff
