Meaningful Life Programs Leader

This role is responsible for delivering programs that bring joy to our residents. The successful candidate will lead the Meaningful Life program in our Care Community, developing opportunities for meaningful engagement and purposeful participation.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, with the ability to drive initiatives such as Meaningful Mates and Helping Hands. They will be able to curate programs to support residents' physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing and overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Meaningful Life program in the Care Community
  • Develop opportunities for meaningful engagement and purposeful participation
  • Drive Opal HealthCare initiatives including Meaningful Mates and Helping Hands
  • Curate programs to support residents' physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing and overall quality of life
  • Develop resident care plans and complete key lifestyle assessments
  • Work together with clinical teams and allied health professionals to provide a tailored approach for each resident
  • Coach care team members to deliver meaningful engagements between like-minded residents
  • Liaise with residents to develop activities and engagements that meet their cultural, spiritual, social and physical needs and preferences
