Job Description

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in promoting independence and overall quality of life for individuals with disabilities. You will combine traditional care with Montessori principles to deliver support that respects each person's unique abilities and needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to individuals with special needs using a person-centred approach.
  • Assist with daily tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation to maintain a comfortable living environment.
  • Encourage social engagement by supporting participation in social and recreational activities, community engagement and building meaningful relationships.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • NDIS Worker Check or willingness to obtain.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
  • Police Check and other mandatory training certificates required.
  • Valid drivers license preferred.
  • Previous experience supporting individuals with disabilities or relevant formal qualifications highly desirable.
  • Compassion, patience, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
