Job Overview

This role is an opportunity to work in a youth residential care setting, providing therapeutic support and care to young people.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing home environment, supporting the educational, social and recreational pursuits of the young people, and fostering independence.

Key aspects of the job include using best practice therapeutic interventions and guidelines, managing household duties, and providing nutritious meals.

Strong communication skills, creativity, problem-solving ability and adaptability are essential qualities for this role.

  • Cert IV in Child, Youth & Family Intervention or equivalent qualification
  • Completing or willing to complete the mandatory Residential Care Top Up Units
  • Green P's or Full license is mandatory for transporting young people
