Supporting Independence in Residential Care

Job Description

Namron Housing and Disability Supports provides tailored supports to NDIS clients in their homes and communities, focusing on improving quality of life.

We seek a team member to support a client with high care needs in Truganina, requiring 24/7 care. This includes working with two children.

The role involves full-time shifts, five days a week, with compulsory active night shifts on Fridays and Saturdays.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing personal care and support for daily living tasks.
  • Assisting with household chores and meal preparation.
  • Engaging in activities that promote the client's physical and emotional well-being.
  • Working collaboratively with other support staff to ensure seamless care delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Relevant qualifications in aged care or disability support.
  • Experience working with clients with high care needs.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
